These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Soul of a Woman (the "Service"), operated by Soulful Affirmations ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

The Soul of a Woman provides daily affirmations, journaling, reflections, and — for subscribers — ancestral AI voice playback of affirmations. Core reading and journaling features are available for free; AI voice playback requires an active paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Using the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam.
  • Infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Introducing malware, probing, scraping, or otherwise interfering with security.
  • Reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service.
  • Circumventing any technical or subscription limits.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including the affirmation texts, audio, artwork, software, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes while your subscription is active.

6. Your content

Journal entries and sister-wall notes you create remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process this content solely so we can deliver the Service to you.

7. Payments, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change over time.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable window.

10. AI-generated voices

The AI voice feature reads affirmation text aloud. Voices are synthesized and are for personal, reflective listening only. Do not use them to impersonate real individuals, create deceptive content, or generate unlawful, hateful, or infringing material. We may filter, restrict, or refuse output at our discretion.

11. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, except where prohibited by law (including fraud, death, or personal injury).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the Service, or breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we are established, without regard to conflict of law rules.
